a little about me

Hi, I'm Sebastian.

A developer, designer and photographer.
Most of all, someone who likes figuring things out.

My first computer got me hooked on the web and design. I spent hours in Photoshop and FrontPage, experimenting and building my first pages. Modding games introduced me to programming. Over time, that curiosity turned into a desire to build applications of my own.

Around sixteen, I started building websites and small apps in my spare time. WordPress followed, along with custom themes and plugins. Over the years, that work led me to the tools I use today: React, Next.js, Bun, Prisma and Postgres.

Along the way, I completed an apprenticeship as a plumber, picking up practical skills that are still part of who I am.

In 2017, I founded secumbu IT-Services e.U.

I got into photography at around the same time as computers. When I was about eight, my uncle gave me an analogue Rollei. An SLR and various digital cameras followed. I liked tinkering with those too, including adapters to keep old M42 lenses in use. I still take my camera with me, especially when I'm out exploring.

What I'm working on

I'm currently working on the development of Contexaro and Klientos: web applications that make knowledge accessible and everyday work easier.

At Contexaro, I develop features that help teams find answers in their own knowledge, capture experience through guided interviews, and use that knowledge for training with an AI tutor.

At Klientos, I work on a CRM for small and medium-sized businesses. My development work includes features for contacts, company records, files and email, alongside the embedded AI assistant Klio, which makes these areas accessible through natural language.

Let’s talk.
