Visiting this website
When you access a website, technically necessary connection data is transmitted. This includes the IP address, the time and destination of the request, and information supplied by the browser about the browser, operating system and, where applicable, the previously visited page.

This website runs on a VPS that we operate using infrastructure provided by netcup GmbH, with the server located in Vienna, Austria. Further information is available in Netcup’s privacy policy.
Display preference in your browser
If you manually switch between light and dark mode, the website stores your selection under piskaty-theme in your browser's Local Storage. Only “light” or “dark” is stored. This preference is not transmitted to the server and remains until changed or deleted through your browser's website data settings.
Storage serves only to maintain your chosen appearance. Without a manual selection, the website follows your system preference. Where personal data is involved, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the interest in retaining the appearance you expressly selected.
Content and experiments
This website contains no analytics or marketing trackers, and its application code sets no cookies. Images and program files are served from the same website. Fonts come from the system fonts available on your device. No external fonts, maps, videos or social media embeds are loaded.
Input and settings in the interactive demos are processed only for display in the current browser window. They are neither sent to the server nor stored permanently. The AI projects described here are editorial content; this website does not run an AI chat or send input to AI providers.
External links establish a connection to their destination only when opened. The respective operator's information then applies.
Contact by email
If you send an email, your email address, message and any information you voluntarily provide will be used to handle your enquiry. For specific project or contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other correspondence, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies, based on the interest in answering your enquiry.
Correspondence is deleted when no longer needed for this purpose, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate requirements to establish, exercise or defend claims apply. Providing information is voluntary; without suitable contact details, a response is not possible.
We use netcup GmbH’s webhosting service to receive and send email. The provider processes the message and connection data needed to transmit and store correspondence.
